A recent survey conducted by Resume Templates confirms what many already know: the common CEO talking-point about improving collaboration by mandating in-office attendance is simply not true.

- More than half of the companies surveyed either have or will use tactics in 2025 designed to get people to quit
- 42% of companies plan or already have increased the number of in-office days required, among other questionable tactics, in an attempt to convince people to leave
- The vast majority reported that it has reduced morale and yet they keep doing it
RTO mandates are a punitive tactic designed to encourage turnover. Nothing more, nothing less.
